Tandm is not a medical device

Tandm is not a contraceptive, not a fertility planner, and not a medical device. It can’t tell you whether you are pregnant, fertile, or protected from pregnancy. Everything here is an estimate based on the dates you log. If something about your cycle worries you — or changes suddenly — please speak to a doctor or pharmacist.

Never use Tandm to avoid or plan a pregnancy. It does not know whether you have ovulated, whether you are pregnant, or whether you are protected, and it cannot find out. Predictions are arithmetic on the dates you have logged, and real cycles vary for all sorts of ordinary reasons.

Nothing in Tandm is medical advice, and nothing it writes is a diagnosis. If something worries you, or your cycle changes suddenly, speak to a doctor or pharmacist.

Who can use it

You need to be 16 or over. One person, one account, and the email address needs to be yours.

During the beta

Tandm is in private beta. It is free, it may change, and things may occasionally break. Accounts created during the beta stay free for good — if paid plans arrive later, they will not apply to you.

We would rather hear about problems than not: there is a Feedback button on your dashboard.

Your data is yours

You can download everything you have logged, and delete your account and everything in it, at any time from Settings. What we store and why is set out in the privacy notice.

Sharing with a partner is off until you switch it on, and yours to pause or end whenever you like, without explaining yourself to anyone.

Using it decently

Do not use Tandm to harass, pressure or monitor another person. Sharing is meant to be something one person chooses and can withdraw. If sharing is being used against someone rather than for them, that is a misuse of this product and we would want to know.

Do not try to break into other people’s accounts, disrupt the service, or scrape it.

What we promise, and what we don't

We will look after your data as described in the privacy notice, and we will not sell it.

We cannot promise the app is always available or always accurate, and it is offered as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of what Tandm shows — which is why the first section of this page says what it says.

Ending it

You can delete your account whenever you want, and that ends these terms for you. We may close an account that is being used to harm someone.

The legal bits

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If we change them we will update the date at the top of this page.
